Welcome Wedgewood Glass Works is the stained glass studio of Janet and Ken Ries in Greenville, SC. We've been creating original designs and custom panels since 1996 in the basement of our home. We hope you enjoy our website; please contact us if you get an inspiration or idea for a panel for your home or business. See us at Greenville's Art in the Park We'll be exhibiting at the 2008 "Art in the Park" in downtown Greenville, SC, on September 19-20 (Saturday-Sunday). The event takes place on the streets beside the city's landmark baseball stadium, Flour Field at West End. It's our fifth appearance in our hometown show. More information is available at http://www.upstatevisualarts.org/events/artinthepark.php Open Studios 2008 Set for November 1-2 We'll again open our doors to the public on November 1-2 (Saturday-Sunday) during the annual "Open Studios” sponsored by the Metropolitan Arts Council. We'll be demonstrating all the steps to making a stained glass panel. Visit the MAC website for details on this popular event: http://www.greenvillearts.com/programs/open_studios.aspx. And stop by the MAC office in downtown Greenville to see the "One Stop Open Studios" exhibit on display April 11-May 23. It features works from 90 artists and crafters. Pink Ribbon Panel at St. Francis Hospital In March 2007 we joined the fight against breast cancer by hanging a special panel in the Breast Imaging Center at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, Eastside, in Greenville . The 15-inch by 24-inch panel features the cancer campaign's pink ribbon in a stylized design of white and green glass. Our thanks to Becky Potts and Scott Pietras at St. Francis.
