"Liberty Bridge," Greenville
One of downtown Greenville's coolest and most popular landmarks is the Liberty Bridge, a cabled pedestrian walkway over the Reedy River Falls (Click here for info).
Opened in 2005, it is a subject for artists in just about every medium. These are our takes on it, done primarily in wispy and opalescent glasses with a chromed wire overlay for the bridge's unique support structure. The version with the dark blue sky is approximately 23" wide by 18" tall; the version with light blue sky (which hangs in a residence just upriver from the falls) is about 26" by 20". |
